Chronicles of Narnia

Watched Narnia today with the church youth... Sat beside HCH and Daniel. Discovered a flaw in the physics of time and the wardrobe.

Just a thought... If time stops when one enters the wardrobe, wouldn't he appear, from the outside, to be jumping out of the wardrobe the second he enters?

This would mean that Edmund can never have entered the wardrobe while Lucy was inside it, before she came out!

Logic FLAWED!

Ok, I'll go easy on the movie... It's fiction afterall :P

Incoherent Fiction.

BAH! If you followed the series in the books you would know that the flow of times in both worlds is not related by a linear, proportion relation.

When Narnia was created in the Magician's Wardrobe 1000 years passed before the events of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. This translated to a 15 year gap on earth.

However, after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, 1000 years now passed in a space of 1 year when the children returned to Narnia.

One can only infer that the exact relation between the times in both worlds is not linear or constant. What we do see is that Narnian time tends to be much faster then Earth time.

I guess that's a sufficient explaination :P
